Crossed Welsh Flags Sticker

Product Information

A sticker that includes two crossed flag with the Welsh dragon on one flag and the Prince of Wales feathers, ich dien, on the other.

The flag of Wales is "Y Ddraig Goch" which in English translates as "the red dragon." It consists of a red dragon passant on a green and white field. The flag was granted official status in 1959, but the red dragon itself has been associated with Wales for centuries; indeed, the flag is sometimes claimed to be the oldest national flag still in use, though the origin of the adoption of the dragon symbol is now lost in history and myth.

The Prince of Wales's feathers is the herladic badge of the Prince of Waes. It consists of three white feathers emerging from a gold coronet. A ribbon below the coronet bears the motto "Ich dien" which is  German for "I serve." As well as being used in royal herladry, the badge is sometimes used to symbolise Wales.
